Practicing tantra can help you convert and move orgasmic energy through your body and into the brain, but it is best not to leave it there. Whatever this energy is (whether nerve firing, biochemical mediators, or electrical signals), accumulating any form of energy tends to stress its vessel, regardless of domain.
It is therefore ideal to combine tantra with a meditation practice that follows right after.
- Notice the energy in your brain from your tantra practice.
- Sit in a half-lotus position on a meditation pillow or yoga block, and keep your back straight.
- Breathe gently and slowly, using deep belly breathing.
- Imagine your stomach like bellows expanding and retracting while lighting a fire. The fire is the energy expanding within your body, while the energy in your brain is drawn down into your body.
- Meditate for 20 minutes and focus on expanding the energy through your entire body and dissipating the energy felt in your brain as much as possible.
